Welcome to BA’s Posting Challenge for book bloggers! In an effort to consistently create content on BA I thought I would take part in a 30 day blogging challenge (I have to mix it up or else I get bored), but realised I don’t want to, nor do I have the time, to create a post every single day. Instead I decided to attempt to create a post once a week with content other than a review.
This is how BA’s Posting Challenge began.
Now BA’s Posting Challenge has become an annual event spanning the year’s busiest time. November for Wrimos everywhere, December for the holiday season, January for New Year’s and recovery, February for the lovers, and March to finally wind down after all the craziness.
BA’s Posting Challenge is for those book bloggers who want content and can’t think of anything to post, want a break without their blog dying, and just want to join in somewhere with the blogosphere community. This challenge has a focus on books, book blogs, and personal topics scattered throughout. Find all the topics here.
Weather Changes Reading Habits: Wherever you are it’s the heart of Winter or Summer, do you find your reading and blogging habits change with the seasons?
Every now and then I come across book blogs where the blogger comments about their changed reading habits. It isn’t necessarily stating their habits are changed, but it’s obvious. For instance when someone is going to do a lot of winter reading or having plenty of time to read during summer.
I realise this all depends on where you live and what your life is like. If you have summer holidays for instance, from studies, then why wouldn’t you read more if you are an avid reader?
I still marvel over it though and then question whether mine doe change. I guess my reading habits change sometimes, depending. I’ve been known to read more around Christmas and New Year’s. Mostly I’m very eager when it comes to beginning my reading challenges and if I’ve received new books for Christmas. I don’t really receive books for Christmas anymore (too many to read) and this coming holiday season is going to be nice and busy, so I’m not sure I’ll be getting much reading done.
Sometimes I’ll want to read more when it’s rainy and miserable, but only sometimes. The thought of reading will cross my mind, but if I’m feeling tired enough I will just end up playing on my Mac, writing, and catching up on my shows.
Come to think of it, I should probably find more reasons to read including changing my reading changers for the better with the change of weather. Oh well, I guess that might happen one day, but for now my reading habits are more time and activity-driven.
If you’re yet to join in, you can do so! If you don’t want to, you’re still welcome to share here in the comments.
