BA’s 26 Posts Blogging Challenge
Welcome to BA’s 26 Posts Posting Challenge for Book Bloggers! The aim of this challenge is to create one post a week, focusing on books, book blogs, and a scattering of personal topics, for 26 weeks. You can learn more, or be kept up to date with topics here.
Posts will go up every Sunday, but you can post any time during the week (all topics are pre-listed), and share your posts in the comments for others to find. Please refrain from targeting individuals, bullying, or slandering in your posts. Share your opinions, but keep it diplomatic if anything negative comes up so this can be, and stay, a fun challenge.
Note: This week’s topic is actually – Blog Love: Share some of the other book blogs you love to follow, who have inspired you, or who have become your online besties. – I’m quite behind at the moment in a lot of things and was very sick last Sunday so here’s me catching up! My post for this week’s topic will be going up on Tuesday and then hopefully all my posts will resume their usual posting schedule.
This Week’s Topic
Nooks: Share a photo of your reading space/nook/area (if not possible then describe it instead). What do you love about it? How did it come to be your reading space? Is it missing anything?
Hmm, I don’t really have a nook, but boy do I wish I did. I’d love one that would either include a wing-backed armchair with a comfortable ottoman, and a nice warm atmosphere, or a bay window with light, breezy curtains, and a lounge seat to recline on. Better yet, maybe I should include both of those options in the one room… Oh… dream house…
I move around with my reading and usually try to accommodate what, or who, is around me. I’ll sit on the floor to spend time with Winston, my rabbit, and move around between the lounge room, to my office area, and in front of the sliding doors so we can sit in the sun.
When no one else is home I will read in the lounge room. Either on the floor with Winston, or I have a chair from Ikea that’s next to the sliding door so I have a view of outside, or there’s the lounges themselves. My favourite lounge spot can change depending on my mood, lighting, and time of the day.
If it’s a really good book though I will read anywhere if I can. I’ll read in the kitchen, the bathroom, while I’m eating, in the car (as a passenger), at the doctor’s, and in the bathroom. I’ve tried to read while cleaning too, but multi-tasking those two activities just does not mix.
Don’t forget to share your post if you take part, grab the badge, and tell your friends. The more the merrier!
