Book Blogger Confessions: Giving Thanks to Books

Book Blogger Confessions is a meme that posts the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, where book bloggers “confess” and vent about topics that are unique to us. Feel free to share, vent and offer solutions.

Hosted by For What It’s Worth and Midnyte Reader. Check out the Book Blogger Confessions Schedule to see what topics are coming up.

Today’s Topic: Giving thanks: Is there a book that you are thankful you have read?  Maybe it has changed your life in a small or even a large way, or made you see things in a different perspective.

Thought: I don’t make a point of singling out books for appreciation or being grateful for. Maybe this is too easy an answer, but I’m grateful for all books I come across. Including the ones I don’t love or even like. Whether a story has the ability to change or alter my perspective on a subject, I feel I can learn something from everything I read. How can I not be grateful for something like that?

What about you? Feel free to share in the comments or let me know if you’re taking part on your blog.

  1. That’s a great answer. I mentioned something similar in my post but I did have a few books the stood out for me.

Every book we read makes some sort of emotional impact on us I think.
