My Book Swap List

Yesterday my book club had a book swap, a little something extra for the end of year, and being the type of bookworm to have a higher count of unread books compared to read on my bookshelves I had all of the following to give away. I thought I’d make a list and post it because I just like lists.

Are there any books you would give away? Even just because your bookshelves are busting at the seams and for no other reason? And have you given away books in the past year?

  1. Yes I am at the point where I have to start giving them away instead of loaning. It would help if I joined the library, but I haven’t had a membership in over a year. I need to get on that! But the book blog giveaways are a lot of fun – but I don’t know how some do so many with the postage charges.

    • I’m not ashamed to admit that I wouldn’t be able to afford the postage with how many books there are, I’d rather use book depository for future giveaways.

Have you ever thought of book swapping or book crossing?

  2. Oh wow – I’ve given away a TON of books this year. I’ve donated to libriaries, to schools and passed on to other bloggers. I spent sooo much money on postage.

    • I could imagine! Especially with bloggers. I’ve contemplated doing the same, but knowing how much postage can add up to after awhile always makes me hesitate. I still have books left over so will be donating them to Lifeline because it goes to a good cause.

Thanks for stopping by Lenore 🙂
