About Bookish Ardour
Bookish Ardour was created by myself (Bonnie) as I had a blogging and book addiction (well, I still do, but I’ve finally learnt some control). Why not combine the two? For awhile there it was myself reviewing and waffling on about books, then I turned BA into more of a group effort by including other reviewers. Now, it’s back to little old me, but still accepting reviewers and guest posters when they come along (if you’d like to find out more about guest posting I’d love it if you would drop me a line via the below contact form).
I mostly read and review Speculative Fiction (fantasy, science fiction, and horror), but also love reading Classic Literature, LGBT Fiction, Contemporary Fiction at times, Young Adult Fiction, and the occasional Non Fiction.
In addition to reviews and the occasional waffling, I use BA to host a collection of Reading Challenges, as well as sporadically host memes. The memes, while created with good intentions, are usually short lived due to time constraints, but the reading challenges are a permanent fixture.

Review Policy
- Availability Right Now: Limited to Publishers and Tour Hosts previously reviewed for.
- Requests Accepted for the Above: Non-review postings, blog tour hosting, online events hosting, reviews.
- Non-Reading Months: January, November, and December
- Reading Turn-Around Right Now: Approx. 8-10 weeks
- Genres Accepted: Speculative Fiction, some Contemporary Fiction, LGBT Fiction, some Memoirs and Biographies.
- Accepted Formats: Print, ePub, Kindle, and PDF.
Due to my reading and writing schedules, as well as life, my availability will remain limited for some time. I’m unable to review for new authors (or individual) for now. When requesting a review or post, please keep in mind I am based in Australia. Please also remain polite and be patient. I will automatically turn down anyone who requests repeatedly for the same title or asks me to fill out forms.
Beta Reading
If you’re looking for a beta reader for your work, preferablly in the genres of speculative fiction (horror, fantasy, science fiction), LGBT, and bizarro, I may be available to beta read for you. Due to my reading and writing schedule though I offer only a few slots for the year. Feel free to ask if I’m available and please give me at least a month’s notice if you’d like me to read your work.

Yes I am. I was going to do all of them except the Century one, but I figure if I’m the host I should do them all.
